Principles

Mary Corazza Parks, M.A., has over 25 years of experience working in the organization development and training arenas. Areas of expertise include needs assessment and analysis, leadership development, business process improvement, project management and instructional design. Before starting Corazza Parks, Mary worked as an internal consultant for United Airlines where she facilitated organizational effectiveness efforts, managed leadership and technical training product design and development and planned and coordinated new employee training in domestic and international locations. In prior employment, she also set up and managed several regional consulting and training systems for health promotion organizations.

Mary’s customers have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to educational organizations and non-profits. She has a Masters degree in Organization Development from Loyola University, Chicago with additional training in consulting skills, workplace redesign, instructional design and job/task analysis.

Jim Parks, M.A., has been editing video since 1984 and almost exclusively on Avid® systems (Media Composer, Symphony, Xpress, Xpress Pro, Xpress DV) since 1995. He also employs Final Cut Pro and has Media Composer 5 for mobile post production. He has edited broadcast and all manner of corporate programs, spots, and documentaries, winning numerous awards, working as skillfully unsupervised as with a producer/director at his side. Jim can do many-layered effects, and also appreciates a well-placed cut or dissolve. As a musician and composer, he especially enjoys editing to and with music. Extensive Photoshop® experience rounds out Jim’s skill set.

Jim has learned that customers appreciate his creative suggestions, editing speed, listening skills, honestly expressed opinions, ownership of their projects and uncommonly good spelling.

Strategic Partners

Kathy Orms, M.A.Ed., is an accomplished leader in organizational development with a proven record of partnering with leaders to achieve business results.

Kathy’s experience spans over 20 years and includes internal and external consulting with large organizations such as Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Loyola Medicine, American Airlines, and Admiral, as well as smaller organizations and schools. An award-winning culture change leader, Kathy helps organizations achieve measurable results in employee engagement, customer satisfaction and loyalty, quality improvement, and leadership skills. Her background includes positions as Director of Organizational Development, Director of Community Development, Early Childhood Coordinator, and President of her own company. Kathy’s areas of expertise include organizational consulting, leadership development, culture change, managing training and development functions, diversity and inclusion, and needs analysis.

 

Eric C. Carter is the owner of Dizzy Pixel, Inc., a creative interactive design studio with a focus on developing interesting and engaging eLearning applications.

Eric has been in business since 2002, creating a variety of digital products for large and small customers. Some notable creations include an animation of how the ear works, various eLearning courseware applications for flight attendants and other airline employees, several Flash-based Jeopardy-style interactive training games, a visualization of a new livery design for United Airlines fleet, and many, many more. In addition to developing the interface and graphic elements for each of these digital products, Eric also specializes in photography. He has shot everything from spokespersons for the eLearning courseware, to product shots and process-oriented shots for use within the training programs. Since 1997, Eric has worked in the eLearning realm, and loves spending his days jumping between Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver.
